About me:Heralded by George Clinton as "The Queen of Funk", Shawna P, a.k.a. the "Funk Preacha" and "Sister Soul", is a powerhouse singer/songwriter best known for her charismatic stage presence. Shawna has shared the stage with such greats as George Clinton, Kid Rock, Robert Randolph, Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich, The Dynamites ft. Charles Walker, Slave, Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots, Duff McKagan of Velvet Revolver, Jesse Colter, Shooter Jennings, T.D Jakes, Jon Nicholson, James Otto, Shannon Lawson, and Muzik Mafia's Chance.
In the studio she has recorded with Michael McDonald, Bob Carlisle, and Damien Horne, Chance and Shanna Crooks of The Muzik Mafia.
She is currently compiling her original material into an album with producer/mc Sevren Sanders of 40Pro, son of the late Steve Sanders, former lead singer of The Oak Ridge Boys.
