OK, so once again Warren proves he doesn't care about anybody's feelings by coming out and opening Saturday Night with Helter Skelter! By the time I turned around and realized they was even on stage Matt Abtts and Warren had already collided on stage with a massive enough force to defend a chuck norris roundhouse. The people were great . . . everywhere. Nobody knew quite what to do during the fallen down and I'm not sure if anyone had the same moment I did, but Warren stepped back from the mic. stared up the hill, magically the wind kicks up and flew off my face and Warren sings leaning back full of soul, "its just a shout away, its just a kiss away!" Surreal. I met a great couple up by the ferris wheel, shared a pretty cool moment and then all went our own ways probably never to see each other again but with a great vibe. One of my best friends brought 124 fake mustaches and handed them out at the show and im here to tell you they were a BIG HIT! Picture how ridiculous the place is to begin with and then picture looking around and everyone within a country mile of you has a fake mustache on and loving it. Mustache May he called it. In other news it turns out Levon Helm is actually Latin for smooth as it gets and Jackie Green keeps on making it happen. So many others to mention like the ever classic dumpstafunk yelling "just put it in the dumpsta" which quickly turned into "just put it in the Bubbla" at my campsite for the next of the weekend though I don't quite get it. I'll admit I have a soft spot for Grace party and the nocturnals because I knew her when she was a kid and we're related somehow, cousins I think, but I'm fairly confident she has a 100% chance of becoming a rockstar. Awareness village was a great addition, healings, massages, spirituality, and the physical embodiment of everything the music does to you no more than 100 yards away. As long as Warren throws it, Ill be there, 1st hill on the right, right under the 3rd or fourth ski moon tower in love.
