About me:l LOVE MUSIC! Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic, PHISH, Ratdog, Govt. Mule, Les Claypool. There's nothing better in the world than the live show experience. I love the music, the people, the pshychodlics, the whole show experiences is other worldly. But it shouldn't be. There is an overall atmosphere one shouldn't have to leave home to experience.
I am the editor and publisher of a brand new music newspaper slated to hit the newsstands February 1, 2008. DESERT RHYTHMS features local bands and live music in the desert cities of Southern California. We also have a brand new web site at www.desertrhythms.com. DESERT RHYTHMS MUSIC GUIDE ONLINE features the same bands as our printed publication and lets visitors listen to our pages. We offer streaming music from our local bands and links to music downloads, band merchandise and websites. The DR Guide to Live Music and Concerts directs music fans to live shows and music events in the desert and in and around Southern California. We are an official Ticket Master Affiliate offering direct links to purchase event tickets.
I am always looking for new bands to promote and share with our 40,000 readers. Music means to me:Pure creative expression. The thread the connects together those who might otherwise never have touched. It lifts our spirits and allows us to travel to other worlds. The bands and the fans blend energy and it is truly magnificent. That's why live shows are the ultimate musical experience.

Schools:Some college, but mostly life.

General Interests:Connecting with other musicians to jam. Altering my state of mind with others. Love hiking and camping.

Other Distractions:Playing my drums, guitar, writing music, playing with my GBs, expanding my mind and engaging in musical conversations through jamming with others.

Check out our new web site, highdesertrhythms.com: Fri 11/30/2007 12:06PM; We're all getting excited about the first issue of our HIGH DESERT RHYTHMS, THE MORONGO BASIN'S ONLY GUIDE TO MUSIC. It's slated to hit newsstands everywhere February 1, 2007. Our first featured artist is a jam band called, THRIFT STORE ALL STARS. If your in our area you can check them out every Sunday night at Pappy & Harriet's in Pioneertown, CA. They have a web site if you want specific information on how to get there.
