About me:Loving life in Santa Cruz, CA. I am close enough to San Francisco to see lots of shows there. I have been to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival every year since 2000 - it's the grand daddy of all music festivals and my favorite vacation destination. My vacations usually revolve around music and kayaking, hopefully both in the same trip! I'm still a deadhead after all these years......

Music means to me:Music is the universal language that brings people from all walks of life together.
Other Distractions:Kayaking! In the summer months I docent in a kayak at Elkhorn Slough where I talk to folks from all over the world about the wildlife they see there. On August 5th, 2007 I kayaked with 3 humpback whales 1/2 mile off shore at Moss Landing! It was the most excited day of my life.
