About me: Noise Pop started as a yearly festival of independent music that featured the best local bands the city had to offer. Over the last 14 years it has grown into a widely respected brand. The company is now the leading independent music festival in San Francisco, and in 2006 is expanding the scope and presence of its established brand into year-round events, an expanded line of original merchandise, media,exclusive music and noisepop.com - our own indie music, art and community-focused presence on the web. Noise Pop’s mission is to be a premier source of high quality independent events, music, media, art, and merchandise to the independent community. The Noise Pop Festival is an annual 6 day event in San Francisco. Held at over 10 venues including Bottom Of The Hill, Thee Parkside, The Great American Music Hall, Cafe Du Nord, Slim's, Bimbo's and more. Noise Pop alumni include Death Cab For Cutie, Joanna Newsom, The White Stripes, Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, The Polyphonic Spree, Mission Of Burma and many more.
