About me:Formed in June '05, Modern Day Cowboy-Tribute to Tesla, consists of singer Dave Friday and Jack Grossman, guitar, who also are members of an original band, Whiskey Dust. Also on guitar, Bob Brannan, and Sean Korns on bass, with Randy Welsh, of the Mo Fo's, on drums. This lineup of seasoned pros make for one hot tribute to the great band of the 80's, Tesla. Modern Day Cowboy has sparked a lot of interest in the South Bay Area, headlining shows and performing up to 2.5 hours of hairwhipping Tesla music and an occasional Led Zeppelin cover, or improvisational blues jam. As for the band, they just love to play Tesla songs for Tesla fans, and have a great time perfoming.
