New CD Release!: Wed 1/23/2008 9:36AM; For the inaugural Varnish Cooks blog, I'm happy to announce that our new album, "Elzic's Farewell," will be released this Saturday (1/26/08) at Boulder Coffee. This is our second self-produced CD. We recorded at the Artisan Church in Rochester, NY on 12/01/07, and did the mixing and mastering ourselves, except for three tracks. Those tracks were recorded live at the House of Hamez on 11/30/07, and mixed and mastered by Bruce Campbell.

We're really psyched to get the new album out there, so we hope you can stop down to a show soon! Aside from saturday, we're also playing a ton in Rochester during February:
