About me:Hey yall! My name is Meridith Moore and I am a local Arizona blues singer. My band is called "The Mikel Lander & Meridith Moore Band". We just won the Arizona Blues Showdown in October and are on our way to Memphis in February to compete with bands from around the world. I'm also a student of socilogy at ASU and an advocate for social change and conscious consumerism.

Music means to me:As a female singer, music has always had a huge impact on my life. I have especially found a connection to blues music. I love the way the notes drift away from the instruments and settle in that warm cozy place, deep down inside your soul.
