About me:Not long ago, I was influenced by the songs of Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash & The Beatles. I admire the literate folk/rock/blues songwriting of Steve Earle, Peter Case and Dave Alvin; and the regional songwriting of Mike Beck and Tom Russell that recall the wide open landscape country of California and the West.

The songs of Ray's Last Stand take you on a journey through the arid landscape of California; where dreamers and misfits live, and where their pie-in-the-sky hopes and dreams live and die; it's about places that ruminate in the heart, they take up as much space as the horizon itself.

I have played a variety of local venues. I currently play coffee houses in and around the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
