Summer 2008: Sun 8/10/2008 1:19AM; what a summer, what a summer it has been....

I've met some really awsome people, hopefully I'll meet some of you on here, thats kind of why I joined.... bonnaroo and vibes this year, can't ask for much more.

yes, I had to check out a roo cuz I've never been and I must admit it was a really great time, tiring, but really excellent... we had about a 40 minute walk to centeroo which was fun in the 90 degree tennesse sun, but I got to see some really awsome music with some really awsome people, highlights for me: Phil (of course), MGMT - very impressive, Dark Star, Claypool as always, Panic, Pearl Jam, Umphreys, Drive By Truckers were superb, Jack Johnson has a great vibe at his set...right as the sun was setting, Disco Biscuits were electrifying - first time I've gotten a chance to see them, there were countless other bands that I fully enjoyed, it was over a month ago now and my memory is somewhat cloudy but I have pictures somewhere to remind me!

snuck in a 311 show a few weeks later... love those guys.

anyway...so we thought bonnaroo was going to be the highlight of summer, but turns out that I may just have had the best time of my life at gathering of the vibes... everything just seemed so perfect about that weekend... the people, the music, the location, the vibes, the hammock in the tree. man I can't even explain the feelings that that festival left me with but I'm pretty sure my life has been altered. I will deffinatly return next year. DEEP banana BLACKOUT.
