About me:Inspired by a higher calling and deep desire to send sincere positive vibrations into the universe, David “Dreadlock Dave” McDougald and John Welton founded Waterband. Their goals are being achieved through expressive musical improvisation and thoughtful musical and lyrical composition. Enter into the flow Ryan Bair and then Taylor Netzler and you have what today is known as Waterband.

Waterband has been described as Folkedelicfunkpop, but ultimately when you order Waterband you get served up a massive and unique blend of styles and influences dating back to the early 60's through the new millennium. Waterband's sonic depth and liquid-like forms allow them to perform as a dynamic acoustic ensemble or as a full-blown electric aural assault!

In addition to the music, Waterband send positive waves to raise awareness and funds for global water issues. In 2009, Waterband established the Waterband Wishing Well as it’s conduit to focus attention through World Water Day and Waterband’s Waterfest.
