About me:Deep Funk DJ, manager of The Dynamites featuring Charles Walker, co-owner of Grimey's New & Preloved Music - Nashville's premier independent record store, music lover since birth. I also host 2 radio programs in Nashville: D-Funk is an education in badass deep funk and super soul music from rare funk 45s to global grooves. The Indie Underground Hour is an exploration of cool sounds bubbling up from the indie underground. In addition I'm a founding board member of record retail coalition AIMS (alliance of independent media stores) and serve on the board of the Americana Music Association. Everything I do gonna be funky and musical.
