About me:I love going to shows and seeing live music, nothing like it... Looking forward to everything this spring and summer will bring. I have a beautiful 4 year old girl named Zoey... She's handicapped and was diagnosed at birth with Sturge-Weber Syndrome. She is a tough cookie and has been through alot, and she is the reason I'm going to school, to give us both a better life. She inspires me every day to keep pushing on despite the difficulties, and I try to remember that if she can smile in spite of everything she's been through, why the hell shouldn't I? She is the love of my life... She loves music, too, a few summers go, I played Truckin' for her and she couldn't stop smiling... dead heads run in the family, I guess lol :)

Music means to me:It means everything to me. It's my life and I would be lost without it. Carried me through some of the worst and best parts of my life. The first band I ever fell in love with was the Dave Matthews Band. That was probably 95 or 96. My sister took me to see them on my 15th birthday, and hopefully this summer, 10 years later, I'll be going to see them again on my birthday! There isn't a genre of music I don't like, but I do enjoy jam bands and classic rock/alt. more than any other kind...

General Interests:If it's outside, I probably llike it, camping, hiking, etc. I love to make jewelry, draw or paint, etc, but haven't actually picked up a paint brush for a few years. Been meaning to get back into it but school and mommyhood tends to get in the way sometimes!! I recently started playing guitar... It's something I've always wanted to do, and to my amazement, I'm getting better, SLOWLY but surely.
Other Distractions:Being in love... does that count as a distraction?
