I like all kinds of music, strong into the old stuff and veer off into the interesting world of metal and electronica and industrial, but i'm always rooted somehow in folk/blues/bluegrass. Music means to me:Music can do so much. You can set the mood for a romantic dinner, energize yourself for exercise or cleaning, embrace a mood out loud, change your mood, take you away to some happy place in your head, make you sing, make you dance, make you cry, make you laugh. Music is everything. There isn't anything I can't feel/say with music.

Belated musings: Fri 8/14/2009 9:28AM; I hang out with dead heads. People who toured and did the whole shake down street scene. People who FELT the music. And forever I wrinkled my nose at it, the music and the scene. Then I grew up a little and became more open minded. It wasn't that I didn't like the Dead... what a relief cuz it was bummin' out my friends... I just had never seen them live
