About me: Well I've deadicated my life to music. I've been playing for 20 yrs. 10 on bass and now 10 on the banjo. I've been in a lot of bands, HighGrass Pickers, JamBusters, and now Workingman's Grass. When I'm not gigging or honing in my skills, I work at a local music store repairing and refurbing, woodwind and brass instruments. On the side I also design and maintain websites. Just went through a lot of trials and tribulations this past year with the passing of my father and separation from my son's mother. But you know what they say, "you can't sing the blues unless you live them." I have a 4yr old son named Bela, whom I've named after my mentor, Bela Fleck. I guess that about sums up who I am

Music means to me:Music means everything to me. Like I said before I deadicated my life to it. While most people were going to college, I followed the Dead for a few years and dropped out of many of schools. If I had to do it over, I'd do what I did again. I learned alot about not only music but life in general. It's too short for us not to go for what we feel. You can't live life regretting not doing what you had the opportunity to do. If it wasn't for Jerry, I'd of probably never picked the banjo as my main instrument. He not only changed my life but set a whole new generation of musicians to follow in his footsteps.
