About me:"Minnesota based rock."Absolute"formed in 1982. The band began as a ballroom opening act, fronting bands such as Obsession,Funhouse,Chameleon,Fair Child,Ivory Star,Johnny Holmes,The Shaw Band and many other influential Minnesota bands. Absolute went through several member changes but the core players remained to be signed by "Hoffman Talent Agency". The signing led to top billings and the boys were now headlining their own shows. The larger shows brought more travel,more money but also brought more ego and more pressure.The band held on for a good five year run, but inevitably broke up around 1989.Going their seperate ways though remaining the best of friends. The shaws (Mark and Jeff) formed "the shaw bro's" and singer "Dlas Scott" went on to front "baron Lesh"
