About me:Trey Presson and The Bootheel Contingent, Missouri born and Seasoned veterans of the scene. Trey and the Contingent are working on their first album called "Lets Get Rite", to be released by April "09. The album is being brewed in Missouri's own Trumble hill Studio's. The evolution of this album has been a good one, and showcasing a couple musical friends who lent their time to the project, including, Mason Watkins(Shady Deal), and Nathan Beck(Fusion Blue&StrangeBrew). With the emergence of The Bootheel Contingent The 2009 release "Let's Get Rite" is an in your Face, Up all Night, Gut full a Whiskey, Southern Fried, Backwoods, Heart Gnawing, Missouri Bootheel Southern Goodness that can only be delivered by Trey Presson and The Bootheel Contingent. With influences like, J.J. Cale, The Allman Bros, Leon Russel, Wsp, and Little Feat, There are definate psychadelic tendencies to this sound that are straight from the jam band genre, but The Whiskey Driven, Painful Mourn, and Southern Soul that comes from influences like Waylon Jennings, Steve Earle, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Dwight Yoakam, the spine tingling moan from Mr. Williams and the deep register of the black wearin bearatone of Mr.Cash, The Outlaw sound bleeds through prominently.
