Telluride ski resort
is located in Mountain Village, San Miguel County, southwest Colorado in the san Juan Mountains in the United States, right next to the town of Telluride. The resort was founded by Joseph T Zoline and was later purchased in 1999 by Joe Morita. In 2003, a private investment group purchased the resort. The ski resort had played to 2009 Visa LG Snowboardcross World Cup. Telluride receives an average snowfall of 309 inches every winter. The base elevation of the resort is 2,659 metres while the top elevation is 3,830 metres. The remote location of the ski resort makes it all the more unique.
