About me:Philly artist JAY D CLARK has worked on many multimedia projects, as a writer, producer, musician, singer, director, actor, screenwriter and artist. He honed his vast and varied skills while working on movies, photo shoots and commercials, between periods of intense screenwriting and songwriting.
Musically, Clark has been a singer-songwriter for over 15 years, playing out in public on a limited basis in the Philadelphia, PA area. In 2003, he recorded the soundtrack for his short film Societal Hill, which screened at film festivals across the U.S. This lead to a position managing Philadelphia multimedia production studio Media Bureau, where he connected with many of Philly’s talented artists.
At Media Bureau, Clark worked with rap legend Schoolly D and musical master Chuck Treece on his last movie project Order of the Quest. Clark followed that up with Fall of the City, a music album created with Chuck Treece (Bad Brains, Urge Overkill, Pearl Jam, G Love, Santogold, the Roots, etc) in 2008. The record, in limited release, has garnered some radio play around the globe and a sizable following on the internet. After creating a buzz online over the past few years, it is now time for Jay D Clark to begin playing out and about a lot more, spreading good vibes everywhere.
