About me:Musefest was originally founded in 1999, as an organization dedicated to producing a celebration of music from Ithaca, NY. For a number of years, Musefest was able to highlight this local communities music scene with support and generosity from local musicians, businesses and lovers of music. After some time we all noticed the 'scene' changing, we can only speculate what made it so different. The organization felt this impact, and after a number of years of attempting to keep the festival going strong, we decided to step back and 'regroup'. After our 10 year anniversary in 2009, we have decided to change locations, and change the face of the festival.
