About me:Lived most of my life in San Diego. Been stuck unhappily in Las Vegas for the last five years where, in my opinion, life is limited and boring, but steady. I try to leave town whenever I can to see some shows or go to the beach to chill out with friends.

My favorite thing is the open road. I'm going to get back on the road soon hopefully in one 'dem big trucks. I love being far from where I was. SO MANY ROADS...

Love catching two shows in a row in different towns.

Music means to me:I started playing drums when I was 15 because I wanted to be a rock star. Eventually, I fell in love with music and fell out of touch with attention-starved "I'm so awsome! Look at me" rock star type crapola.

What turns me on is human rhythm, spontanious organic improvisation between musicians, selfless surrender to the sound, creative song structures, and poetry that I can relate to or at least understand.

It seems like music the way I love it is growing less and less popular. I'm not saying it's extict, there's lots of great stuff still left and occasionally, rarely, I'll hear new stuff that has a creative or classic flavor. Frankly the growing popularity of crap like hip hop, baby-baby pablum like what is now called r&b, or screaming baby-having-a-tantrum rock just breaks my heart. It seems like the population is getting scared and people are opting to conform out of fear or greed instead of being creative and loving and taking chances.

You'll never fall in love if you don't take the chance.
