Jon of the Shred's Profile

About me:I play over 10 instruments, sing, and rap. I produce and engineer my own music and have hundreds of songs. (But every single one needs to be rerecorded ;) )

I aspire to write film-scores one day, but to also aspire to make movies of my own, particularly a Stoner Zombie Rock Opera where the stage name Jon of the Shred originally came about back in '07.

To inspire relentless collaborative efforts within the jam scene is another goal. All the musicians of todays scene need to work together, but also push each creatively. Concepts starting with one band and explored further by limitless other musicians and artists. Group albums, side-projects, festivals that, instead of a headliner, feature a 10 hour set with anyone competent enough invited to join in.

I also play shows as a one-man-band, and very often do "mercenary guitar work" and jam tons of shows alongside my fellow scene musicians and bands from all over the East coast.
