About me:The Jimmys are a local, SF-based rock-pop outfit who deliver high-energy, hook-filled live shows all around the Bay Area music scene. Fans describe the sound as reminiscent of the more melodic side of The Replacements…to the manic pop-rock side of The Who, Social Distortion, and even a hint of The Pogues! Playing fan filled shows @ epic venues such as Cafe Du Nord, Red Devil Lounge, 12 Galaxies, and the venerable Sweetwater…only adds to the band’s momentum. The debut EP Broken Town is in the can and released in June 2006. Recorded @ Hyde Street Studios with Justin Phelps on board [Cake, Chuck Prophet] The album was mixed over @ The Plant in Sausalito.
