About me:I've been married to my husband, Jedd, for 31 years. We met in college as music majors (violin for me and string bass for him), when we were 18 (him) and 20 (me). Jedd is a manager at Galaxy Music in Stone Mountain, GA and is also a professional musician. His current band is "The Gopher Broke Band". They play mainly in the Blue Ridge/Ellijay area. I am an insurance agent but love to sing with his band and I'm starting to play electric fiddle with them. I taught orchestra in DeKalb County from 1975 - 1980, when I quit to stay home with our new born son, Jeremy, who is now 27. He is an excellent singer and fine bass player. Jeremy is extremely talented like his Dad. When Jeremy was 2, I began teaching pre-school music and Jeremy attended school everywhere I taught. When Jeremy graduated from high school, I changed careers and became the insurance agent that I am today.

Music means to me:Everything. Music helps me concentrate and work productively. Music is the best way to express feelings, change opinions, and bring people together. Music soothes the savage soul, screaming babies and children, & out of control adults. I don't think it works on Republicans or religious zealots. I have to have music playing anytime that I am in the car or at work. I could not live in a world without music.

General Interests:Music (duh), snow skiing, 4 wheeling, trips to the beach and/or mountains, snorkeling, singing, playing & listening to music, cooking, spending time with family & friends, watching sci-fi and horror flicks, motorcycle riding, driving my Mustang (fast)
