About me:Originally from West Palm Beach, FL. Moved to Hollywood, CA in 1989 and attended the Musician's Institute. Saw my first five Grateful Dead shows, dropped out of school, ended up back in West Palm Beach. Attended Palm Beach Community College studying communications and music. Moved to Eugene, Oregon in 1994, saw 42 Dead shows by the time Jerry died. Published first news article, a column about Jerry, the after he died. Started following Phish. Graduated U of O, worked newspaper jobs, got married, moved to Raleigh, had son Aug. 8, 2004 - missed Hampton that night - saw total 40 Phish shows by the time they bowed out, divorced, drugs, 60 days in jail, moved back to Oregon, this time Bend, to be near son, and that's where I am now writing for local weekly The Source.

Music means to me:explosions of color, smoke and cresting sound. Basically, think of standing in front of the stage while Phish bops through 2001. That image is what music makes me feel like, if that makes any sense.
