About me:Etienne Sin croons darkly melodic pop with the energy of punk and technicality gleaned from a metal background. A one man writing machine, Sin delves into the tangled web of sex, love and redemption through driving melodic hooks tempered by guttural growls. The result sits square in the angst balanced with catchiness of such groups as A Skylit Drive, Alesana and Black Veil Brides. Sin comments “Other than Vocals, I play Guitar, Bass Guitar, and Piano. I perform everything on the recordings, except for the drums. I do arrange all drums however and give them to my drummer to record. Much like Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails Sin has input on everything from writing of the songs to the performance of the individual instruments, the arrangements, recording, image and visual outlook which separates him from many of his contemporaries.
