About me:Dead Stick Landing is an eclectic rock trio based in Athens, Georgia whose sound revolves around hook-laden rock while incorporating progressive elements, genre-crossing, and improvisation.

The band draws influence from many genres ranging from 90's alternative like Ween, Primus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 311, Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, and Soundgarden; to classic rock like Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd, The Police, Led Zeppelin, and The Talking Heads; to progressive rock like Rush, King Crimson, Dream Theater, and Tool; to jambands like moe., Phish, Breakfast, and Umphrey’s McGee; to fusion like Bela Fleck & the Flecktones and Garaj Mahal (yeah right!).
