Bonnaroo 09

Gotta report about my experience Sat night at the roo...saw MGMT, then Moe w Grace Potter. MGMT was insane. It was my first time and I would highly recommend you check out this scene. Didn't understand the band's description when I read it in the festival info, but after the first bass, laser, glowstick shower, bassline-induced love fest, Got it...all standing under a giant glowing mushroom (thank you roo). Then Moe, what a show. I was standing back right and could hear every pluck and wap perfecly. The guitars were hard charging then add the bass, no way to describe other than YES, got it. First time for Moe, read the band description and didn't get it, heard them for 10 mins, Got it. Also caught Moe at Allgood...this was a better show for me just because the setting was a little more intimate. The set list flowed...check out archive.org for the show.
