Radiohead To Headline 2 Nights of All Points West.
this + mind = blown.

I got a little dizzy reading this. According to the newest issue of URB that Radiohead will headline two of the three nights at All Points West, the new festival from AEG Live and Goldenvoice being held in New York City August 9, 10 & 11th. I was already planning to go, but now it is a lock. It is going to be madness and I am so there. 0 Comments :: Permalink :: Wed 2/20/2008 11:06 PM

Seriously Supernatural Superserious
I am superpsyched to say that the new R.E.M. song is killer.  They've definately captured the late 1980's R.E.M. while still sounding current.  It is currently occupying #1 of the Fresh Sonic mix and their upcoming tour with Modest Mouse is going to be an epic start to the summer.

Reunions taken too far...

The Who Reunion = necessary
The Police Reunion = exciting at first, then disappointing when they butcher my favorite song (of theirs) at Bonnaroo (King of Pain)
Led Zeppelin 3/5 Reunion = intriguing

This reunion is completely unnecessary...

"Spice Girls announce reunion tour

06/28/2007 7:58 AM, AP

The Spice Girls wannabe stars again.

Following a calculated publicity buildup, the original Girl Power group of the 1990s announced Thursday that they have agreed to reunite for six concerts around the world — their first since breaking up in 2001.

Talk of a reunion had swirled for weeks — boosted by Sporty Spice herself.

Victoria (Adams) Beckham (Posh Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) and Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) formed the Spice Girls in 1994. They became a global hit.

Chisholm, who had opposed a reunion, recently told the British Broadcasting Corp. she had changed her mind.

"For the first time ever, there is some truth in the rumors. We've been discussing it and it could possibly happen," the 33-year-old singer told BBC radio.

"I've always said, `I don't want to do it, the past is the past. It was amazing, it was magical. We could never recreate it,'" Chisholm said. "But this year people have been talking about it and some of the girls have expressed an interest in doing it."

The Spice Girls' 2000 album, "Forever," had weak sales, and they began concentrating on their solo careers."

The Spice Girls were better off broken up Mel C made dance music, Posh Spice did was she was best at... being hot and the others faded into obscurity... well... except for  Mel B/Scary Spice having Eddie Murphy's child out of wedlock (trying to stay classy about this).

The real question this time around is will they even sing? They'll probably be better off just lip syncing. Luckily I won't be there to find out.

Better than The Police and definitely blog worthy
This was pulled from...

"Led Zeppelin set to reunite for gig
26/06/2007 - 13:02:56 Rock legends Led Zeppelin will reportedly reunite for a one-off memorial concert in honour of their late record boss before embarking on a world tour. Pictured: Lead singer Robert Plant.

Rock legends Led Zeppelin will reportedly reunite for a one-off memorial concert in honour of their late record boss before embarking on a world tour.

The 'Whole Lotta Love' rockers have only performed a handful of concerts, including Live Aid in 1985, since their split in 1980 following the death of drummer John Bonham.

But singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones will re-group alongside Bonham's son Jason for a special concert in memory of Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun in London.

A source said: "Page, Plant and Jones spoke and agreed to do the memorial concert. They are waiting for a definite date.

"And no-one can quite believe it, but during discussions about the concert they all gave the green light to a tour if it all does well and they don't all fall out.

"It has been hoped-for and denied for years. But this is the closest they have ever come to a reunion tour. The feeling is that this is going to happen next year."

Ertegun died in December after seven weeks in a coma following a fall at a Rolling Stones concert."

The most important part... "Rock legends Led Zeppelin will reportedly reunite for a one-off memorial concert in honour of their late record boss before embarking on a world tour."

I'm in for that.
