About me:My name is Sunshine. I live in Tempe Arizona. Born in Alberta Canada... birthname is Alberta Rose. Yea well... don't laugh too hard at that, I was born in a tiny 10 bedroom hospital 3 months early, feet first in 1970. Aug 26th! true blue VIRGO! A leader not follower. I have to be HEARD! Most likely I WILL have the last word. Not afraid of telling it like it is. Raised in Seaside Heights N.J on the shore... with the bennys. Moved to Arizona at age 15ish. First Dead show was1974. I was 4. Deadhead YES! Teen years I fell into metal/punk/skater and other crazy shit. I woke up and saw the light again (Dead show) in 85 started first batch of dreads. started sewing making "spinner dresses" Jerry passed away and I freaked out. Had a dream the next night and I started a simple phoneline to keep my brothers & sistahs together. Moonlit Gatherings Lightline started in 95 within days of Jerry Garcia passing and within a year we were 800 nationwide. Lightline went down for many years after the suicide of my best friend and co owner of Moonlit Gatherings Promotions. The lightline went back on the airwaves in November 2007 "dead"icated to my best friend Joey Ellison may he be at rest now. So here I am taking time to update my AZ phamily daily of what band is playing where, whats happening around town and pretty much whatever it is I want to say as I have the right to voice anything I want. Freedom of speech for my Arizona Phamily & the Az Music Scene! BANDS, want to know where the headie bars and clubs are in town? I'll give you the scoop just ask... good places to play, great friends & phamily! Music is alive and well in AZ.
