HeadCount, the not-for-profit nonpartisan group dedicated to registering voters is proud to announce a limited-edition print featuring The Dead, Phish, Dave Matthews Band, The Disco Biscuits, Les Claypool, Michael Kang of String Cheese Incident, Al Schnier of moe., Gov't Mule's Warren Haynes and Galactic drummer Stanton Moore.
Live music's top photographers Danny Clinch, Jay Blakeberg, C. Taylor Crothers and Adam Foley all donated the use of their work for this print.
This is the first collectible item ever to feature images of The Dead, Phish and Dave Matthews Band, three of the most popular touring acts of all time.
All the proceeds from the sale of these 18 x 24, full-color prints will support HeadCount's nationwide voter registration efforts.
"This print represents the collaborative and unifying spirit of HeadCount itself," said HeadCount co-chair Marc Brownstein, who plays bass in the popular electronic rock band The Disco Biscuits, and is also pictured on the print. "To have so many bands participate in this, as well as the most accomplished photographers, really demonstrates how committed the music community is to the cause of voter registration."
Only 3,000 lithographs of the print will be produced, and be sold at an affordable $25, making this collector¹s item accessible to music fans of all ages and means. For serious collectors, HeadCount will also produce a version printed on photographic paper, for $150. Only 250 of these photographic prints will be available, and each will be numbered.
HeadCount, which has voter registration teams at as many as 40 concerts per week around the country, has already registered 25,000 voters.
