Ok, Im sure you guys have heard of this Tioga Mobile Mart right? Well, this past weekend was unbelievable!! A mini Tortugas if you will. This gas/food mart (dare I say food mart because of the world famous and absolutely mouth watering gourmet meals) offers beer, wine, souvenirs, food, and fun all nestled at the eastern edge of Yosemite Nat'l Park.

The Turtles have been playing there for several years now and it has been a secretive gathering of tons of people in the middle of nowhere for free music!! Well, the secret is out. They played two nights this past weekend and ROCKED IT!!!! The second night had the most people ever at this summer concert series.

There is an area for camping at the top of the hill ( a short walk away from the Moblie Mart) with a great lookout of Mono Lake and the surrounding valley. The party raged on at the campsites long after the turtles amazing sets. The Trespassers and Tistrya & Friends opened for BTS both nights and were equally awesome.

Some cool perks of the Tioga Mobile Mart:

* Go in the market, get an amazing meal from the Whoa Nellie Deli, buy your booze, and walk outside to a picnic table or a grassy spot in front of the stage, and enjoy!

* Fish Tacos, Homeade Huckleberry BBQ sauce, Mango Margaritas, Lobster Taquitos, just to name a few favorites.

* Fresh, clean mountain air with a beautiful view of surrounding mountains and lakes.

* Free Music!!!

* Great service and employees. From the chef's in the kitchen to the man himself, Rob Barker, everyone was having a fantasticly fun time!

* Pure amazement. So many people were in awe at the sight of such a huge crowd (of all ages and in the middle of nowhere) getting their groove on to the turtles!!

Alright, so if I havent convinced you yet, then I give up. All I can say is next time you hear the turtles are playin at a freakin gas station, you better GO!!!!
