Join us for a festive evening of vibrant Latin American music, celebrating the bicentennials of Mexico and Argentina! The youthful New York-based Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas opens, conducted by the exuberant, 26-year-old maestra Alondra de la Parra. Then, Argentine-Uruguayan collective Bajofondo electrifies with its unique mix of tango, rock and electronica, with Gustavo Santaolalla performing some of his Oscar-winning compositions (Brokeback Mountain, Babel). The evening closes with a collaborative grand finale!
