My husband and I were living in San Francisco when we met. I suggested we see Femi Kuti at the Fillmore on our second date and, after dancing our asses off and watching his dancers tear up the stage, he knew he had to marry me!

We've seen Femi numerous other times all over the country since then. I have to say that seeing Femi and his dancers and the band is, by far, my favorite live music experience of all that I have seen (and thats A LOT). I have never seen hips move like that and would LOVE to see them again.

I wish it were 4 tickets to give away so we could bring our 2 dancing children but that might have to wait for our next opportunity.

Oh, and my birthday is next week too so this would be a GREAT b-day gift for me! :)
