I was Duped into buying tickets for the Phoenix show at the Dodge Theater on July 20th 2008. I'm just curious who puts together a set list for Steely Dan and then forgets to add,

1.) Ricki Don't Lose that Number

2.) Do it Again

3.) Deacon Blues

4.) I'm a Fool to do Your Dirty Work

AND

5.) Reelin' in the Years

When they walked off the stage I thought it was some sort of joke! What a waste of $138 for 2 ($50+) seats to see them from 85 yards away. I really don't know what they were trying to prove to themselves or the crowd by not playing any of these songs. I left the theater pissed at myself for not reading what people had posted about the "Think Fast (you've been duped) Tour.

I heard several people disappointed saying the same thing as I left the show. Please pass this along to the band.

You are clearly a close-minded listener. The tours are expensive, but Becker and Fagen play some TIGHT stuff. All of those songs you listed are popular songs that are played on the radio. Do you have any clue how many albums/songs these guys have? Apparently not. They have LOTS. If you want to see those songs, stay home and watch VH1 Storytellers or watch clips on YouTube. Steely Dan has a wide array of music, try opening your mind up to it, rather than bashing them for not playing your commercial tunes.
