Tony Mason

Drummer Tony Mason grew up in SouthernPines, North Carolina. Tony started playing at age 7 and it's been drums and music ever since. After studying at East Carolina for one year, Tony came to NYC in 1986 to finish his education at The Manhattan School Of Music where he received a perfomance degree in classical percussion. Tony was also very active in the jazz program. Tony has toured and recorded with Joan Osborne, Martha Wainwright, Norah Jones, Bernie Worrell, Cyril Neville, Doug Wimbish, Leo Nocentelli, George Porter Jr., Chiara Civello, Bo Diddley,... more
