Drew Blackwell is from the Mississippi town of Macon. His mother is a gifted pianist and he and his sisters all have a ear for music and can sing!! He began learning his way around the guitar at the young age of 14, influenced by his Uncle Doug, and mentored and inspired to write and feel the blues by the great Willie King.
