Anais St. John
Anais St. John A native New Orleanian who has worked in the music, theater and the modeling industries for the past ten years, Anais was most recently known for her Friday and Saturday night appearances as the featured performer at the Polo Club in the Windsor Court Hotel. Anais also recently completed a run as one of the featured artists in the "Women in Jazz" series at the Royal Sonesta Hotel. After earning a Bachelor of Music Degree from Xavier University, she received a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of New Orleans. Anais has appeared on stages with Tulane Summer Lyric Theater, the New Orleans Opera Association, Le Petit Theater, Jefferson Performing Arts Society, and the Living History Project. Following in the footsteps of her father, jazz alto saxophonist Marion Brown, Anais was recently named one of New Orleans Magazine's "People to Watch," and received a "L'Image" Award from Gambit Weekly.
