Chris McCarty Chris McCarty, the dreadlocked singer/guitarist, is a charismatic performer who writes a lot of his own stuff. McCarty swoops onto the stage and starts playing. It is his way to let the music and performance do the talking and crowds can't help but pay attention.

The music is undeniably rock, at times with an underlying jazz vibe, and chock full of adrenaline-packed jams by the four piece. McCarty's high-energy show is a sight to behold! Chris McCarty, has shared the stage with the legendary James Brown and opened for bigtimers like Dave Mathews, Sister Hazel and Sugar Ray, Nic Cowan and Jake Owen. The multi talented singer, actor, songwriter and guitarist's performances include "Butterfly", "Agree to Disagree'"and either "The Next One" or "Control", which has an upbeat tempo with a soulful chorus that began as an adlib backstage with the Dave Mathews Band. "People often feel the need to be in control of things and the song is about losing control and being okay with it," said McCarty.

McCarty tours throughout Florida and nationally tallying more than 200 performances each year, including shows at prestigious music festivals, the University of Florida's "Gator Growl" crowd of 50,000. McCarty's co-starred in "Beautiful Noise" the movie to be released Summer of 2011. With two of his original songs on the Beautiful Noise soundtrack, "Butterfly" and "Believe". McCarty will tour in 2011 throughout the United states and will be opening for Nic Cowan, recently signed by Zac Brown Band's record label, Southern Ground Records & Sister Hazel.
