Comprised of a team of seasoned musicians with a thirst for musical diversity, 4th Coast strives to play music without boundaries. The band's sound, forged in the styles of Roots Rock and Americana, forms a solid vessel that's prime for launch into intergalactic funk and fusion explorations, dubbed "jam-tastic funk" by Madison newspaper, the "Isthmus" (thedailypage.com). Continuing the tradition of Funky Drummer Clyde Stubblefield's "Funky Mondays," 4th Coast has maintained a residency at downtown Madison venues on Monday nights for 2 years running.
