Dyer Weed Yes, folks. There is a real Dyer Weed. Contrary to popular belief, we are not named after the Dead tune Dire Wolf. Nor are we named after the plants Dyers Woad , Dyers Weed or any other such natural occurring botanical wonder . Rather, our humble beginnings bring us to the Clinton House in the Historic little village of Clinton, NJ. Here holding court, dry martini in hand, is our namesake and spiritual mentor (our very own Baba O'Reilly, if you will), the incomparable Dyer D. Weed, Sr.
