Years ago, on a planet of wax, there was a brave band of players. Due to unfortunate levels of cosmic disturbances in the force, these brave players were flung to the far corners of the musical universe. Nothing happens by accident, and the solar winds have pushed some of our heroes back together. Revitalized and with a new vision and focus on creating the funnest, coolest sounding and booty movin' tunes in the universe.
Wax Planet is a four piece band, performing their own fusion of styles to create new music and revamp people's favorite cover songs. These five players come from different musical backgrounds, including Americana, Rock, Jazz, Bluegrass, Metal, Blues, Pop and Funk. This wide variety of influences, as well as the multi-instrumental abilities of Eric, enables Wax Planet to mix it up and keep it fresh and interesting for the entire show! Whether you have an original music venue, a neighborhood bar that demands covers or any type of private gathering, festival or event Wax Planet can fill the bill and tailor the show to meet your music needs.
We also have the ability to perform acoustically as a duo, trio or whatever your event requires. We like to call this Acoustic Wax.
