Josh Abbott Band

Josh Abbott founded the band in the 2000s in Lubbock, Texas while attending Texas Tech University. He quit college, a thesis away from his Masters degree, to pursue a musical career full time, and founded the band with Preston Wait, guitarist Jedd Hughes. After Hughes dropped out, they were replaced with the band's current lineup. After signing with Bruce Kalmick and Ambiance Artists Management Group in December 2008, the wheels started turning fast for one of Texas Music's quickest risers.
