You, You're Awesome
You, You're Awesome You, You're Awesome is the electronic audio-visual collaboration between Ohio natives Kevin Bayer and Yusef Quotah. Keeping busy in the studio over the last year and a half, the band has released three six-song EPs which have helped them polish their analog vs. digital sound involving synthesizers, modified video games and live drums, the concept for which began over late night conversations, drinks, and records.

YYA has continually wowed audiences with their high energy live shows which combine Yusef's emphatic energy and Kevin's driving focus, complete with choreographed video projections. The strength of their live performances combined with a rising fanbase, solid collection of studio EPs, and an extensive list of remixes have earned them top spots on Louisville's Forecastle Festival, Cincinnati's Midpoint Music Festival, and opening slots for the French Kicks, Bishop Allen and Tobacco. A coveted slot at the 2009 CMJ Music Marathon in NYC earned them a spot on SPIN.com's 25 Must-Hear Artists.

Some of their remixes include songs by Brit-based The Answering Machine, Chicago's Coltrane Motion and Radiohead's "Reckoner" that reached #1 Most Popular on the Hype Machine in its first week of release.

The band is currently planning an East Coast tour before heading back into the studio to record a full length debut album.
