Stick Figure delivers a unique sound of reggae, dub and rock steady. Stick Figure's music is written, produced, and recorded by lead singer, Scott Woodruff. At an early age, Scott became fascinated with the art of music and began playing the drums. Eventually, his passion for music grew and he acquired the skills to sing, play the guitar, bass, keyboards and produce the music.
All of Stick Figure's songs are made by recording each instrument separately, layering several tracks on top of one another in unison.
What was at one time a one-man operation, Stick Figure has now developed into a full four-piece band that conveys the same unique sound. Relocated to Southern California, Stick Figure added three new members for the live band, Brendan Dane (bass), Todd Smith (drums), and Kevin Bong (keys). Together, the band is breaking new grounds in the scene.
The fourth full length studio ablum, "The Reprise Sessions" marks the first official release of the new 4-piece band. Maintaining their roots, while expanding their musicianship, Stick Figure is proud to announce the release of 12 freshly polished signature tracks, blending roots reggae with heavy hard-hitting dub and bass rhythms. The album drops August 3, 2010.
