'KHI DARAG', pronounced with a clearing-of-the-throat sound at the beginning, roughly translates from Armenian to mean "disgraceful scoundrel" or "person of unpredictable or outlandish nature." This San Francisco Bay Area ensemble has embraced this as their namesake and our mission.
