Humble Boy Club The Humble Boy Club (the HBC) is another new band hailing from New Paltz (the NPZ) that has just arrived on scene this summer. Mixing its fresh blend of roots, reggae, rock, and funk, the Humble Boys are currently enjoy a breakout fall in the Hudson Valley and beyond. With 5 members featuring Ranger Rick (vocals and rhythm guitar), Mikey Snax (backing vocals, percussion), Scott Hanna (alto clarinet, percussion), Jay Miles (bass) ["The Miles Brothers"], and the one and only Terry Hampton on the kit ["BB King Band," "Brothers Johnson," "Group 6,"], "the bands’ blend of reggae-rock defies the limits of contemporary musical labels."
