Parker Macy Blues Parker Macy, age 24, first started performing as Parker Macy Blues in 2005. Born in Reno, Nevada, Macy relocated to Orange County at the age of nine and began playing guitar. Inspired by musicians such as The Beatles and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Macy chose to speak his mind through the creation of music. As a growing artist, he became absorbed in the traditional Blues of David "Honeyboy" Edwards and Robert Johnson. Macy's voice, rough and soulful, rings of whiskey, sex, and the Revolution. After releasing his first self-titled album in 2007 and receiving the title of Best Blues Artist at the 2009 O.C. Music Awards, Macy has completed his sophomore album, titled, "Hope For the Revolution." Parker Macy Blues continues to teach guitar as he tours and prepares to begin his third full-length album.
