Northbound Traveling Minstrel Jug Band is composed of four Syracuse University students, Aaron Gittleman (banjo, guitar, accordion, harmonica, lead vocals), Adam Cohen (mandolin, lead guitar, vocals), Lucas Sacks (bass, guitar), and Dan DiPasquale (drums, bass). Northbound's unique and eclectic blend of newgrass, blues, rock and roll, and folk, gets thrown into a melting pot, stirred up, and served hot. With a set that contains both traditional bluegrass band arrangements (mandolin, banjo, guitar and bass), rockin jam out sessions (guitar, lead guitar, bass and drums), and picking that will get your mom hot under the collar, Northbound is a sight to see. With influences ranging from the Grateful Dead to The Band to Led Zeppelin, Northbound carries on the torch of making great songs while jamming and having fun. Mainly playing in the Syracuse area, they will be touring this summer on the East Coast following the release of their much-anticipated first album. They are signed to O, Morning Records (
www.omorning.com
) and can't wait to get out on the road. Become a fan on Facebook, add them on Myspace (
