New York City quartet Tall Tall Trees plays a unique brand of banjo driven folk rock. It has been described using the following words: raw, rustic, whimsical, muppets. Founded originally as an acoustic trio in 2006 by multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Mike Savino, guitarist Kyle Sanna, and percussionist Mathias Kunzli, the band has since electri-fried their sound and added bassist Benjamin Campbell to the performing line-up.
